BT-22 is used in conjunction with other ultra-low frequency speakers by expanding the system frequency response. When using three or any multiple of three BT-22 ultra-low frequency speakers, they can be placed in a heart-shaped ultra-low frequency speaker array to achieve impressive directional control under lower frequency conditions, significantly reducing the energy radiated backwards.
